The company also provides inmates health care including medical, dental and psychiatric services, food services and work and recreational programs. It operates business through two segments: Owned and Managed Correctional and Detention Facilities and Managed-Only Correctional and Detention Facilities. The company was founded by Thomas W. Beasley, T. Don Hutto and Robert Crants on January 28, 1983 and is headquartered in Nashville, TN.
